WWCHS Greenhouse
Chafin Construction Company managed the site work for a new greenhouse for the Wilkes County Board of Education, ensuring high quality and efficiency throughout the project. This work included soil testing to check the land’s suitability and implementing erosion control measures to protect the environment. The project involved excavation to prepare the site and grading to create a flat foundation. The team installed a graded aggregate base for stability and proper drainage essential for the greenhouse’s durability. Concrete was poured to form the structure, and storm pipes were installed to manage water runoff.
